Tips for Posting an Experience
Travel
(North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Australia, Asia)
Have you been anywhere exciting lately? Did you have insider tips for an exotic location? The travel category contains experiences that are specific to a particular country, region or city. This is your opportunity to create individual postings about the wonderful places you have visited on vacation or for business. Did you enjoy the trip? What made it enjoyable? What kind of people did you meet? How did they make you feel? Please be broad or specific about your experience.
For example, John traveled to Mexico for three weeks. In his first posting he decided to explain his planned itinerary and his impressions on the country and people. John includes the resources he used to plan the trip and describes what he enjoyed the most about Mexico. In another separate posting, he posts a detailed experience of his exploration of caves in Mexico. He describes local tour guides used, complete with addresses and contact info, description of equipment used and other details. In a third posting, John outlines his cultural experience during the Pamplonada festival in Mexico, including where he stayed during this busy festival time and insider tips on tourist traps to watch out for. John may decide only to post his specific experiences or lump them together into one broad experience. Again, if people appreciate the clarity and detail of one of John’s experiences, they may be willing to view and/or pay for other experiences he has written.
